Mixed Feelings
We were hiking up a gravel road to a geocache this morning, Frank saw a little dead field mouse and of course had to point it out to Daphne. She said "EEEEWWWWW! Aaaaaaw." Apparently her disgust is matched only by her compassion.
Walmart really grinds my gears
Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.
