Giant girl changes tires in a jiffy!




This time of year, I always get a hankering to drive through all the little towns and see the giant tire woman and what not.

Do you think she helps sell tires? Like the purple gorilla at the car lot? Call me sexist, but I will buy my tires from the Paul Bunyan statue. I trust him more than this mini-skirted bimbo. Maybe if they had a Janet Reno or Rosie the Riveter. This one looks too much like a character from Scooby-doo.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page? I'm Giving my copy away at bookmooch.
