Good grief! No wonder I'm getting fat...

I found a clue about why I am getting to be the classic chubby hubby... From an old note to my parents....


Thanks again for the ice cream maker. We tried it last night but Teresa put in mini M & M’s and I think it impeded the freezing process, plus I don’t think we left it going long enough (about 17 minutes) and might not have used enough milk (2 2/3 cups whole milk to 5.9oz Choco-Fudge pudding mix, I was trying for extra-rich)- We ended up with very cold, very thick pudding. It was good though. We are going to try Banana Cream next.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page? I'm Giving my copy away at bookmooch.
