We don't need no dark sarcasm...

Did you ever notice that (in public schools at least) there are dozens of lousy teachers and a few really great ones? The ones that made you "light up" as in "Lux Sit" not a doobie? They should try and get the great ones to have thier kids go into teaching (and pay them all double because they produce at least 10 times the learning) - Maybe it's hereditary.

I figure the really pathetic teachers that make sarcastic comments (They are out there - Pink Floyd refers to it in "The Wall", remember?) - those sick individuals would slowly lose thier ability to make young people miserable and would drift off into other occupations.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page? I'm Giving my copy away at bookmooch.
