So much for dreams...

So much for my dreams of becoming an Internet millionaire (Or even thousandaire) via Google ads... I had a Google ad sidebar on a lot of detail pages, turns out they don't get on well with the shopping cart... People were filling up carts and then suddenly the cart would only have the most recent item in it. This happened to me at Safeway once and I was not a happy camper. Especially when the manager told me I could not camp in the store, regardless of what I saw Al Bundy do on the TV.

But I digress. The Google ads have all been removed, so there should be no more problem with carts getting tipped over. Enjoy your shopping experience.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page? I'm Giving my copy away at bookmooch.
