Shipping can be cheaper!

Tired of overcharges on shipping? It’s hard to set up a perfect shipping algorithm, sometimes our cart “charges too much”.


So here’s an idea: Put the phrase “Refund Excess Shipping” in the comments part of your order, and any shipping charge that exceeds actual postage, will be refunded.


Suppose I should put some “fine print” to that;


#1 Not valid on prior orders


#2 Offer may be withdrawn at any time. (I’ll come back and make a note here if we do)


#3 Offer void where prohibited. I always see that in newspaper contests and whatnot, where is this place that prohibits offers? Sounds like a drag.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page?
