I must somehow duplicate myself

  We’ve been gradually adding quantity discounts at ThatRestlessMouse.com – My goal was to finish adding all the items to the new “virtual cash register” software, THAT is a big job.


  It doesn’t help productivity that I got “Sims 3” for Father’s Day. Those sims are harsh taskmasters, but at least they can somewhat take care of themselves in this version.


  In earlier versions of that SIMS series, there would be situations where for some reason the sim would refuse to use the facilities, and would pee in the hall. Good thing they haven’t invented stink-o-vision yet.

Walmart really grinds my gears

Teresa just did her weekly Walmart trip, I know that it's the holidays, there is a ham there that was pushing $30. And Tide detergent, everything else was just low key expensive. I get it, tarrifs, rising cost of labor, insurance, yada yada yada. The total was about $225 - I have bought cars for less than than! Not very good cars, I'm just saying. What really grinds my gears though was the blatant lie at the very bottom of the reciept; Low prices You Can Trust. Every Day. A better tagline might be We know, everything is expensive, it's not just us. Maybe put the oreos back? To which I might reply: I got your creme filling right here, Buddy.

Feng Shui my foot, I tripped over the potted plant...

We have been weeding out our books, I've got this little book that advises how to improve the "Feng Shui" around here. Some of it is pretty far out. It says to put a compost pile in the West part of the garden, but goes on to say. it's a good area for "Sunbathing, convalescing, and entertaining" Am I missing a page? I'm Giving my copy away at bookmooch.
